Aaron and Carolyn's wedding was one that I will never forget. Not only was it beautiful and classy, it was one of the most fun weddings I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of.

In no particular order, here's what I would have wanted to know about planning a wedding. I hope something here resonates with you!

The first time I met Melody and Trina, our meeting ended in high fives all around - Mel, Trina, and their son, Quinn. They are the kind of gals that are so fun, friendly and laid back that it only took a few minutes to feel like we were old friends.

Meaghan and Jeff are some of the most genuine, fun, and caring people you will ever meet. On the wedding day their friends and fam were so helpful and sweet... it was one of those weddings that I felt absolutely privileged to be a part of.

As cosplayers, they encouraged their guests to come in costume and promised a prize for the best dressed. When it came to their music selections - you guessed it - geeky to the extreme, with music from TV, movies and video games everywhere they could include it. It. Was. Awesome.

Today's post is one that is so, so close to my heart! Both my husband and I have known Sergio for more than ten years, and seeing the amazing woman that is Laura join his life has been a beautiful thing. We're absolutely blessed to call these guys our friends.

What do you get when you have a couple who are head over heels for each other... and The Beatles? Um... one of my favourite weddings ever.

From the very first time I met Lisa and Dan, and conversations ranged from Taylor Swift to which Big Shiny Tunes compilation is better, I knew that their wedding was going to be a blast. And it was.

These two were extremely laid back, and every time we got together they made me laugh - they have great senses of humour, and I have a feeling that I'm not the only person who they made feel like an instant friend from the first time we met.

Kristen and Adam are currently blowing up Instagram with photos from their amazing adventure of a honeymoon, so it seemed like the perfect time to give their wedding some love on the blog!

Elizabeth and Sean wanted to celebrate their marriage with a laid-back shindig for all of their loved ones - and let me tell you, they had just that.

When I met Lindsey and Dallas, they told me that they had originally planned to use an iPod for their wedding dance, or create a playlist for one of their friends to manage, but the task was starting to get out of hand.
