Sarah + Colin's Geeky, Movie Soundtrack-Loving Wedding

Sarah and Colin came to me via their friends Adam and Kristen (who I blogged about here). They were planning a classy, intimate wedding at Lux Steakhouse and Bar, with a whole heap of their personality infused.

As cosplayers, they encouraged their guests to come in costume and promised a prize for the best dressed. Instead of a ring bearer, Batman stormed in mid-ceremony with the rings. When it came to their music selections - you guessed it - geeky to the extreme, with music from TV, movies and video games everywhere they could include it. It. Was. Awesome.

They enlisted a talented team of vendors to bring their wedding to life. As always, the food and service at Lux Steakhouse was unparalleled. FaBLOOMosity provided a very classic bouquet and centrepieces, and a delicious cake and cupcakes with Dalek cake toppers were created by Whimsical Cake Studio.

Here's what they chose for music...

Prelude

Before the wedding, Sarah and Colin chose a sweet selection of instrumental versions and covers from games and movies, most of which were recorded by Vitamin String Quartet. Some of my favourites were...
Imperial March - Star Wars - Vitamin String Quartet
Theme - Dr. Who - Vitamin String Quartet
Hogwarts March - Harry Potter - Vitamin String Quartet
Theme -Star Trek Next Generation - Vitamin String Quartet
Harry In Winter - Harry Potter - Vitamin String Quartet

Here's what they had to say about working with PopJukebox for their wedding:

"Stacey was an excellent choice of DJ for my wedding. She is great to work with and made our last minute need to hire her a super smooth process. She asked all the questions we would've wanted to cover and was very easy to touch base with when needed. She also did an AMAZING job of keeping people on the dance floor all night long! My husband and I would recommend her to ANYONE who needs a DJ without any hesitation."
