Elizabeth + Sean's Laid-back and Fun Wedding

Elizabeth and Sean wanted to celebrate their marriage with a laid-back shindig for all of their loved ones - and let me tell you, they had just that. This was a sweet wedding to be a part of for a number of reasons... here are some of the awesome things this rad couple did to make their day unique:

- They were there during cocktails! This might not seem like a huge deal, but one thing that most people forget about a wedding is this: where the couple is = where the party is. Cocktail hour can sometimes seem like guests are just killing time until the guests of honour show up, but with Elizabeth and Sean (and their bridal party) on hand to greet and mingle with guests, the excitement level was high from the moment guests arrived.

- They kept it simple - They opted out of a formal head table in favour of sitting with their loved ones, there was no bouquet toss, no garter toss... just a whole lot of hanging out with their friends and family. It was the perfect fit for them!

- Borsellino Photobooth was there for entertainment! Steve and Angelica are friendly, helpful and totally engaged with people using their booth - and they make it easy to share the photo booth images to social media instantly. I definitely recommend them as a great photo booth company for an Edmonton wedding - and I'm sure that any of E+S' guests would too, because it was clear that everyone was having a blast.

Here are some of the musical highlights from Elizabeth and Sean's wedding – I hope it gives you some ideas for your own wedding music, or simply puts a smile on your face.

First Dance:- The Way You Are - David Choi and Kina Grannis

Father Daughter Dance:

- You're Going to Lose That Girl - The Beatles - as a nod to Elizabeth's family's love of the Beatles, and some advice from her dad to Sean, this was a great first dance option. Not too fast, not too slow, and a nice personal touch make for a memorable father daughter dance!

Mother Son Dance:
- Ordinary Miracles - Amy Sky

Dance Floor Highlights:

This wedding was near the start of the summer, so it was one of the first ones that really got excited when "Uptown Funk" came on, as well as Taylor Swift's "Shake it Off", both which have pretty much turned into must-haves for the dance floor. Elizabeth and her friends requested some hilarious and amazing nostalgia-inducing 90s tunes, including S Club 7's "S Club Party", "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls, and "Everybody" by the Backstreet Boys. They had asked for some Aqua, which I am always on board for, but they asked for one that I totally forgot even existed - Candyman (Lollipop) - which the ladies of the bridal party seemed to know every single word to (cue my mega-impressed face!).

And now for more photos of Elizabeth, Sean, and their rad families enjoying themselves on the dance floor. A huge shoutout goes to Sarah Mavro Photography for sharing these lovely images!
