You know us - cheesy music is something we usually avoid at all costs. But... Valentine's Day. You just can't escape the cheese on February 14th. It's just part of the holiday. So why not embrace it, and pump the most cheese-filled love jams you can find?

It's no secret that Halloween is one of my favourite times of year.

Music has that wonderful way of attaching itself to memories, and by defining my favourites from each year, I will always be able to revisit those memories and their unique soundtrack.

While I love listening to some upbeat and fun Christmas music while doing my holiday baking, when Christmas finally arrives, I personally like to switch to more quiet, reflective Christmas music.

I have a little tradition that I started about five years ago, where I take a minute to define my favourite musical discoveries of the past year.

Can't stand the thought of hearing "Rocking Around The Christmas Tree" one more time? Having a dinner party and would rather not bring down the mood with Wham!'s "Last Christmas"? I feel ya, peeps, I feel ya.

As each year ends, I begin to get excited for the release of one particular video on YouTube…
