2014's Top Songs in a Mega-catchy Mashup

As each year ends, I begin to get excited for the release of one particular video on YouTube. DJ Earworm's United State of Pop. This DJ's amazing mashups have been a favourite year-end compilation of mine ever since I first heard "Blame it on the Pop" -  which was released at the end of 2009.

This mashup compiles the 25 biggest songs of the previous calendar year into one epic song, with an equally impressive edit of the videos that go along with each hit. Even if you're not a huge fan of Top 40 hits, anyone can appreciate the skill with which these songs are woven together. I recently stumbled across an article describing the method used to choose the songs, and to mix them together, and my mind was blown - this guy is even more talented and meticulous than I thought.

This year's United State of Pop mashup is just as infectious as any other, and I am, as always, loving it! Check out the video, below. Enjoy!
