Cheese-Free Christmas Music for 2015
Can't stand the thought of hearing "Rocking Around The Christmas Tree" one more time? Having a dinner party and would rather not bring down the mood with Wham!'s "Last Christmas"? I feel ya, peeps, I feel ya.
This is my fifth Christmas season as a DJ, and I'm always on the hunt for non-traditional, awesome Christmas music... music that every guest at a Christmas party isn't already sick of hearing. I've found a few gems, and I want to share some of my faves with you.
Quite a few of these selections came from one of the six "A Very Relevant Christmas" compilations produced by Relevant Magazine. I've become a huge fan of these albums, eagerly awaiting their release every year. They're usually available for free download, so go check them out here. (You have to create an account on the Relevant Magazine website, but it's a small price to pay for an awesome Christmas album!)
